For legal reasons the State Examinations Commission (SEC) has not issued final certificates of examinations results since the 2005 examinations.
Certificates for school-based candidates who sat the Leaving Certificate in 2012 and/or the Junior Certificate in 2010, 2011 or 2012 are being sent to candidates now.
All other candidates who sat examinations in the period 2006-2011 will be issued a certificate on request. This includes those who sat Leaving Certificate or Leaving Certificate Applied in the years 2006-2011 and those who sat Junior Certificate in the years 2006-2009. Applications can be made using the free On-Line Certificate Ordering Service on www.examinations.ie. This service will open on 10th April 2013 and will remain available until 31st December 2013.
In order for candidates to access the online application they will require their date of birth and their PPS number and/or their examination number.

1.CAO Closing Date
5.15pm on 1st February is the closing date for CAO entries.
Restricted courses must be included on application by this date see www.cao.ie for list of these courses.
2.CAO Change of Mind
Students can change their mind online between 5th May and 5.15pm on 1st July 2013. Restricted courses cannot be added after 1st February 2013.
3.Carlow I.T./Wexford Campus
Carlow Access form to be returned by 1st February to Carlow I.T.
(Disability and Financial Supports – 2 separate forms).
4.Hear/Dare
Hear/Dare forms should be completed as soon as possible. Please check dates on www.cao.ie
5.Maintenance Grants
Parents are reminded to obtain supporting documentation for third level and PLC maintenance grants now, please check www.studentfinance.ie for details of documents required.
